I am Susant Kumar Rout, originally from Narasinghpur in Cuttack district. After completing my graduation, I pursued MCA from Utkal University. Along with my academics, I have completed specialized training in C, C++, and Data Structures from Nagpur, Bengaluru & Delhi. My career began as a software trainer and today, I am grateful to serve as Chairman of Lakshya Institute of Technology, Bhubaneswar.

2️⃣ What challenges did you face on your journey to reach here?

Every big dream requires hard work and comes with challenges. The journey of establishing LIT into a role-model institution wasn’t easy — but every challenge became a stepping stone. The trust LIT has earned today is the result of dedication, vision, and never giving up.

3️⃣ How would you describe the journey of LIT so far?

When we started in 2011, LIT was functioning as a Computer Training Institute. In 2016, we achieved affiliation from Utkal University, transforming into a full-fledged degree college. The growth since then has been meaningful and inspiring.

4️⃣ What are your short-term and long-term goals for LIT?

Our ultimate mission is to make LIT the best and most preferred IT institute in Odisha — and eventually among the top institutes in India.

During my student days, I realized that many books were concept-heavy and not easily understandable.
I wanted to create resources that simplify technical learning — so students can understand, practice, and apply knowledge efficiently.
My books today are available on major online platforms and are helping learners across the country.
